VIJAY ANTONY

Vijay Antony was initially working as a sound engineer and later became music director. Antony, who joined Loyola College, Chennai in 1998, started, after finishing college, his own studio named Audiophiles, where he first did sound engineering and later composed jingles for TV and for documentaries. It was then, when Aascar Ravichandran approached Antony to compose music for the film Dishyum and he eventually entered the Tamil film industry. However, the soundtrack of the film Sukran, directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar, was released first and became his debut album. Subsequently other directors, too, gave him the opportunity to compose for their films respectively.
