Shyam Ganesh  has a hands on experience in Advertising field from in early  90s.  He made an entry into TamilTelevsion Industry as an Actor in the year 1995. From the  first Tamil Mega Serial  of SUN TV- SHAKTHI to the latest VASANTHAM  in Sun TV ,  he has almost seventy five serials in various channels  to his credit. He is associated with the Private Satellite channel from the time it has been established in Tamil Nadu.
Shyam Ganesh is privileged to have an experience of  working with veteran directors like K. Balachander, K.Shankar,  K.Bhagyaraj, Bharathiraja, next generation directors- Manobala, Sundar.K.Vijayan, C.J,Baskar  younger generation directors like Linguswamy, Murugadoss and others.
Shyam Ganesh has ventured into Ad films, Events and Co-ordination for various production companies and TV channels in India and abroad. With the experience and contacts  in the entertainment field, Shyam Ganesh has conceived this production house Gautam Creations situated at Nungambakkam Chennai, to give shape to his dreams in the entertainment Business
